Settings

Personal information

The app does not ask for your name, email, phone, or address. Custom quest titles may contain personal text if you choose to enter it; this stays on your device and is not transmitted.

Third-party SDKs

The app bundles open-source Android libraries (AndroidX, Compose, Room, Hilt, WorkManager). Release builds also use Firebase Crashlytics for anonymous crash diagnostics only. The app does not integrate advertising, usage analytics, or social login.

Optional in-app purchases use the Google Play Billing Library. Google processes the payment; Home Hero does not collect card numbers. Entitlement state may be stored on your device; Pro and Founder restore from Play for the same Google account.

Internet usage

The app does not connect to external servers for quests, accounts, or sync. Firebase Crashlytics (release builds) uses the network to upload anonymous crash reports over HTTPS. Google Play Billing uses Google Play services for product details, purchases, and restore. Optional actions (feedback email, rate app, privacy link) open your email or browser apps.

Analytics, crash reporting, and advertising

Analytics: Not implemented.

Crash reporting: Firebase Crashlytics in release builds only. No quest content or personal identifiers attached. Disabled in debug builds.

Advertising: Not implemented.

Notifications

If you enable reminders and grant notification permission (Android 13+), the app shows local notifications about unfinished quests. Notification content is generated on-device. No notification data is sent to external servers.

Backup

Android backup may include app data according to your device settings. The developer does not receive backup data.

Data retention and deletion

Data remains until you clear app data or uninstall. There is no remote account or cloud copy managed by the developer.

Children's privacy

The app does not knowingly collect personal information and does not transmit data off-device.

Your rights

You can access and modify data in the app, or delete all data by clearing storage or uninstalling. For privacy questions (including GDPR): zbytniewskiadam@gmail.com.

Changes

We may update this policy when the app changes. The date at the top will be revised accordingly.
